Fees & Rebates

Counselling & Trauma Therapy Counselling

I have set hourly rates for hourly sessions and longer sessions-please email, text or phone to ask me about fees for counselling and supervision. I can provide a Medicare Rebate for the therapeutic services listed below. Ask me about reduced fees based on income and student fees. Fees and costs are usually discussed during our first contact on the phone or through email.

Supervision & Consultation

I am registered with Medicare to provide a rebate with:

A Chronic Disease Management Plan (from your GP)

This plan allows up to 5 sessions to address mental health issues such as anxiety or depression and your well being needs while living with an existing chronic disease or serious illness such as breast cancer and includes: asthma, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, musculoskeletal conditions and stroke. Other conditions and serious illnesses may be covered by this plan. Please discuss this with your GP to arrange a plan and a referral for counselling.

Supportive Pregnancy Counselling (from your GP)

If you are currently pregnant or have been pregnant in the past 12 months and have pregnancy related concerns or well being needs you are able to have 3 sessions of supportive counselling with me and receive a Medicare rebate. Talk to your GP about Supportive Pregnancy Counselling to arrange a referral.

Bulk Billing for Counselling

If you have either a Chronic Disease Management Plan or a Supportive Pregnancy Plan from your GP and you are unemployed, on a low income or a student I may be able to offer a bulk billing service. At this stage I cannot bulk bill with a Mental Health Care Plan.

Reduced Fees for Counselling Sessions

If you don’t have a Chronic Disease Management Plan or a Supportive Pregnancy Plan from your GP and you need a reduced fee payment due to your income please let me know and I can offer you a reduced fee based on your income.
