People with chronic conditions (including anxiety and depression) and chronic pain find a body integrated approach helpful when feelings of loss, anxiety or depression arise. Sometimes the pain becomes overwhelming. When living with chronic pain or an ongoing condition it may be difficult to have a sense of wellbeing and feelings of loss and isolation are common.
My approach incorporates body sensitive therapy using mindfulness based practices, a focus on the breath and restorative yoga that is gentle and balancing.
I support people with chronic pain and chronic conditions to connect to their body in a new way, practice mindfulness and find new pathways that lead to a greater sense of wellness. Change is possible. Being supported can be the first step to feeling better and living as fully as possible with a chronic pain and/or a chronic condition.
