In my therapy practices and my life I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first people and original custodians of this land.
I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ deep spiritual, physical, and emotional ties to their land and I aim to respect the way Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people experience these ties bodily, mentally, spiritually and within kinship.
I have an understanding of the way dispossession from country and the effects of racism across many generations are linked, directly or indirectly to suffering, trauma and wellbeing.
I am committed to respectful cultural practice in all of my therapeutic work and acknowledge the benefits of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healing practices, beliefs, traditions and rituals.
